www.archermayor.com - Archer Mayor is a death investigator for Vermont's Chief Medical Examiner, a deputy for the Windham County Sheriff's Department, a volunteer firefighter and the EMT captain of his local rescue squad and still manages to write 17 books in the Joe Gunther series of police novels! Fascinating guy, great writer.
www.erinhart.com - Hart delves deep into the history and traditions of the Irish midlands in her spellbinding novels. Great site with interesting links to a glossary and pronunciation guide to her characters' names, Irish traditional Music and Irish Archaeology sites.
www.louisepenny.com - Louise Penny gives her readers well-wrought mysteries set in rural, southern Quebec. Chief Inspector Gamache, the head of homicide for the Sûreté du Quebec, is called to the idyllic village of Three Pines to investigate. Compelling descriptions of both characters and place.
www.juliaspencerfleming.com - The small town of Miller's Kill in upstate New York provides the setting for the skillfully written mystery series featuring police chief Russ Van Alstyne and the Reverend Clare Fergusson. Spencer-Fleming plenty of suspense and sexual tension to keep the pages turning.
